One of my favorite and most used blogging tools is Zemanta – which works with WordPress and/or your browser and offers up content suggestions for your blog posts.  Zemanta lets you add images and related links to your blog post with just a few clicks.

You can learn more about Zemanta here.

Zemanta is Looking for Guest Bloggers

The folks at Zemanta have updated their blogs and they are looking for guest bloggers.  They are looking for posts about all types of blogging – their blog has over 40,000 unique views a month and they feature blog posts in their email newsletters.  This could be a great way to generate some exposure for your blog.

You can get all of the details on writing a guest post for the Zemanta blog here.

Write a Guest Post For The BlogLocal Blog

While we’re on the subject of guest blogging – we welcome guest posts here on the BlogLocal Blog.  We don’t have quite the traffic that the folks at Zemanta have but we have a lot of love for local bloggers.

We would love to have more posts about…

  • local blogging communities – for example – Pittsburgh has an awesome Pittsburgh Bloggers Facebook Group.  How do bloggers in your area connect and communicate?
  • blogger profiles – tell us about your blog and why you started writing about your community
  • favorite blogging tools – as mentioned above, we love Zemanta, and we would love to show off more tools that you use

If you would like to write a guest post for the BlogLocal blog – please send your blog post ideas to hello – at –

I have a blog that I post about Pittsburgh and other places in Pennsylvania, but it is a travel blog and I post all US.     I will add it to your list and if you don’t want it there, let me know.
