Creating a Custom Google Map

Are you writing a blog post that features a list of different places and locations? Would it be useful to make your very own customized Google map to keep track of the locations you have listed? Learn how to make your own customized Google map by following the simple steps below.

1. Go to Google Maps.

2. Click “My Places”.

3. Then select “Create Map”.

4. Enter the name and description of your desired map.

5. Enter the name or address of the destination you are searching for. Click the map point to see the destination’s description. Click the “Save to Map” text in the white bubble box.

6. Once you hit “Save to map”, the location will be saved in your “My Places” folder under the title of your maps. Simply search places and save to your map as you go to create your custom Google map.
