Block By Block is an online community of independent news publishers that lives online at www.blockbyblock.us and hosts an annual summit in Chicago. The 3rd annual summit will be held on September 13-15, 2012. General Registration opened last week for the 2012 conference – registration details are available here.
I think I first learned about the Block By Block last year on Twitter and learned about a ton of great local sites from following the #bxb11 hashtag. There was lots of great info and links about local journalism shared via the conference hashtag.
